Services and Activities for the

9th of May to the 15th of May 2008

cath_005.jpgEach service is held at the Anglican Cathedral of Second Life. The service is offered in text and voice format and where a message is preached, it will be in audio format.

After the service we have a time of fellowship where you can meet people from around the world. And the service leader is on hand if your require prayer or need to chat something through.

If you are new to Second Life you are most welcome!!

The service and activity times in SL time (which is the same as Los Angeles) :

PENTECOST!!

You are invited to wear something red to the service.

  • Discussion group - Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Please join us at the benches by the fountain in front of the Parish House. All are welcome!
  • Bible Study led by Sophia Tulip will be held at 11am Sunday at the Conference Center next door to the Cathedral. NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE!!

  • Evening Prayer - Sunday 12 noon - Preacher and service leader: Revd Mark Brown
  • Compline - Sunday 6pm Led by the Revd Brenda Monroe (Hildeguard Psaltery)
  • Wednesday Worship 2pm Led by the Rev Gareth Janus

    How do I join the Anglican group or do I just show up. I met a Scottish Anglcan in the Cathedral (my first time in SL) and she suggested I contact you as you invited her in

    When you are in SL, click the search tab at the bottom of the screen. Then click groups tab. Then type in Anglican. Then click on Anglicans in SL and a ‘profile’ will show on the right. Then click join group…

    Ahh, Mark, if I can stay awake until 11pm, I’ll be there! Still no mouse for my MacBook Pro, but at least this time…Hild will sit down!
