is this a new thing? what exactly is the purpose – I expected to see faces and bios…

Faces and bios of some of us are to be found in the ‘The Leadership Team’ section of this website.
‘Facebook’ is a social networking site which has an Anglicans in Second Life group which many of us who use Facebook belong to. If you register with Facebook, then you’ll see photos, and be able to post in discussion boards and put messages on the group ‘wall’.

Brethren,
I haven’t been able to catch the services
online the past week. However, I was able
to listen to both the message on litte ”
sainthood ” and the ” vision of Anglican
Second Life “. Both were a blessing and
a challenge to my soul.
Keep up the good work. Thank the Lord for
all the volunteers at the virtual church.

I’d like to connect you friends of the Anglican Cathedral of Second Life with the group of some 100 Anglican priests in Nigeria who are very eagerly learning about internet ministry and evangelism. I’ve just given them a remote video/audio/PPT presentation on internet ministry and included reference to what you all are doing. Rich blessings to you.

Thanks for getting in touch Dave. Perhaps the group you are working with would also be interested in some of the material that came out of the Christianity in the Digital Space symposium recently held in Durham, UK. http://digitalsymp.blogspot.com/
